I have the ticket, passport, a place to live, and old friends to reconnect with.  I’m ready in certain regards to begin the thing that I have been preparing for since last August, but at the same time it’s hard to leave home and make my way again.  Maybe once I’m there the feelings of Germany will rush over me again, and I’ll think, yes, I remember this place I once called home.  Right now, it just seems foriegn and distant.
