So, I’ve got my computer updated and ready to travel along with a webcam!  I haven’t tested it out by using Skype or another service, but hopefully I’ll work out the glitches when I call home to the family.  It’s amazing the number of people I’ve been able to catch up witith and also the unexpected phone calls that came on Friday.  My room’s all clean and now I just have to sort through clothes I want to take.  It’s hitting me that I’m leaving tomorrow, which makes me nervous and excited!  It’s finally time to take off!

I have the ticket, passport, a place to live, and old friends to reconnect with.  I’m ready in certain regards to begin the thing that I have been preparing for since last August, but at the same time it’s hard to leave home and make my way again.  Maybe once I’m there the feelings of Germany will rush over me again, and I’ll think, yes, I remember this place I once called home.  Right now, it just seems foriegn and distant.
